Bethany, being the classy dame that she is. She used to be such a girly girl too. Amazing what the zombie apocalypse can do to someone.
A couple of people have pointed out Beth’s teeth and were curious if she has a gap or just has wickedly sharp teeth. Truth is, Beth is actually missing the first molar on her left (our right) side. Uh..well, keeping in mind we’re looking into her reflection here. She does have pretty exaggerated eye teeth too.
Her other side is fine, but you really only notice she’s missing a tooth when she smiles, or if she’s yelling at someone. Just ask Magnus. He’s certainly noticed, but he doesn’t dare ask about it at this point. She’s still a stranger, after all, and she’s the kind of stranger that he suspects will probably punch him if he oversteps any boundaries.
I know this probably isn’t a big deal to a lot of people, but considering I often feel like this no name artist, that just kind of came out of no where and plopped a webcomic onto the web, this makes me really giddy.
This is how much growth I’ve had in the last year between finishing chapter 1, and almost finishing chapter 3. Man, even just saying that I’m almost done the 3rd chapter in my book is weird, this is the longest on going project that I’ve worked on.
I really wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this comic, because goodness knows zombies are done to death (ha ha, get it?), and I was constantly worried about a ton of different things, and I had a lot of self doubt about getting started, but I did it anyways, because hell, it’s the kind of zombie story I wanted to read.
I know I gush to you guys a lot, but for those of you coming on the journey with me, and telling your friends about my comic, I can’t thank you enough, and you’re all seriously awesome. It really is a great feeling seeing how many people come to read, or getting those awesome comments and commentaries on the newest pages.
I have to admit, I’m curious to see where I’ll be this time next year.
I mean every word, you guys.

I swapped this one with Luna, and she informed me today that it had arrived in her hands safe and sound! She gave me a couple of choices to draw, but I ultimately decided to draw Bethany, a character from her Zombie Apocalypse Webcomic ‘Under the Dead Skies.’ With her permission, I’m posting it over here.
